WXIX Adds Reporter, Hires EP from Rival Station

WXIX_304Cincinnati FOX affiliate WXIX has announced the hiring of executive producer Robin Tyndall and morning reporter Megan O’Rourke.

“As our competitors know, we’re busy making key upgrades to our newsroom,” WXIX news director Kevin Roach said in a statement. “These additions bring home-grown talent and experience to FOX19 News and that will benefit Tri-State viewers.”

Tyndall worked for 23 years at what the press release vaguely calls a competing station though her Linkedin profile lists ABC affiliate WCPO as the last place she’s worked. Tyndall once worked with current WXIX news director Kevin Roach at WCPO.

O’Rourke comes to WXIX from WDTN in Dayton where she is a weekend anchor. She worked with Roach while he was ND at WDTN. She starts in July while Tyndall has already started at WXIX.
