WVIT Names 4 P.M. Anchors, Announces AM Changes

Hartford NBC-owned station WVIT has named its anchors for the new 4 p.m. newscast.

On Monday, June 13, Tara Joyce will be joined by sports director Kevin Nathan and meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan.

The station announced changes ot its morning show. Traffic anchor Heidi Voight is moving to the early morning news desk alongside Todd Piro and meteorologist Bob Maxon for the 4 to 7 a.m. newscast. Kate Rayner will fill in on traffic until the station finds a replacement.

“We are very excited to deliver an additional hour of local news each weekday with our new 4 PM newscast,” said vp of news Ben Dobson. “Kevin, Tara and Ryan make a great team and are committed to providing our viewers with local news, weather forecasts and enterprising stories that are important to them.”
