WUSA Morning Meteorologist Says Goodbye After 20 Years

Today was WUSA morning meteorologist Howard Bernstein‘s last day at the Washington, D.C. CBS affiliate.

“Bittersweet day…,” co-anchor Annie Yu wrote on Twitter. “Wishing our colleague @hbwx the very best as he embarks on a new chapter in life!”

Bernstein says he doesn’t know what’s next for him. “It’s kind of exciting and scary at the same time,” he told viewers.

Before joining WUSA in November 2000, he worked at WVUE in New Orleans, KOCO in Oklahoma City and WUHF in Rochester, N.Y.
