WTVD in Raleigh Says One of Its Reporters Arrested for DWI

By Kevin Eck

Raleigh-Durham ABC owned station WTVD has acknowledged that one of its reporters has been charged with driving while impaired.

The station reported that Jamiese Price was arrested Sunday morning by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. The announcement was somewhat of a surprising move, given most stations won’t comment on personnel matters.

Price has worked at the station since 2022. Before that, she worked at the Black News Channel, WNCN in Raleigh, WBRC in Birmingham, Ala., TWC Cable News in Rochester, N.Y. and WDHN in Dothan, Ala.
