WTTG’s Erin Como Promoted to Weekend Morning Anchor

FOX 5 D.C. weekend anchor Cori Coffin is stepping away from her post to move closer to family in New York City.

Traffic anchor Erin Como and host of Cooking With Como, will take her place.

“Erin is a dynamite talent; you want her on your team because she is a natural competitor. She’ll still do traffic three days a week and host her very popular segment, ‘Cooking With Como’ on ‘Good Day DC,'” said general manager Paul McGonagle.

“I am thrilled to take on this new role at WTTG Fox 5. I’m so happy to be a member of such a talented news team, and I’m honored to get the chance to grow professionally in such an incredible city,” Como added.

She’s been the station for the past four years as the morning traffic anchor. Prior to this she worked in Nashville and Philadelphia.

Stacy Rusch will take her place at the traffic center weekdays on Good Day DC. Rusch is a lifestyle expert based in DC.
