TVSpy isn’t sure if the headline is “Prince Charles Amazed by iPhone” or “WTTG Uses iPhone for Coverage of Royal Visit.” Either way, it’s one of those moments we get to see how far technology has come.
WTTG reporter Bob Barnard was using his iPhone to add another camera angle to the FOX owned Washington, D.C. station’s live coverage of the Royal visit to Washington, D.C., when the Prince of Wales, otherwise known as Charles, saw Barnard and asked if he “had something to do with all this” gesturing to the crowd.
“I’m just a TV reporter,” Barnard told him– as they shook hands.
AdvertisementBarnard was still rolling as the Prince pointed at his iPhone, had a good chuckle and said, “You don’t look like it.”
“No, we’re going low-tech,” Barnard said.
“It’s amazing what you can do with that,” the Prince said.
