WTAE Makes Changes to Anchor Lineup

Viewers of Pittsburgh ABC affiliate WTAE will see some changes to the station’s anchor lineup starting in March.

Beginning Monday, March 7, current evening anchor Janelle Hall and weekend evening anchor Ryan Recker will move to the mornings to co-anchor alongside Michelle Wright.

Noon anchor Kelly Sasso will join Mike Clark at 6 p.m. as co-anchor. Sasso will continue to co-anchor at 4 p.m. with Andrew Stockey.

Reporter Chandi Chapman will become the weekend evening news solo anchor at 6:30 and 11 p.m. with meteorologist Brian Hutton Jr. and sports anchor Guy Junker. Chapman will report during the week.

“The depth of our talent allows us to integrate our extraordinary journalists across all newscasts with these expanded assignments,” said Charles W. Wolfertz III, WTAE president and general manager.
