NBC Local and Telemundo stations in Washington, D.C., WRC and Telemundo 44 have promoted their assistant news directors.
Daniela Llargues has been promoted to news director of Telemundo 44, while Matt Glassman has been promoted to news director of WRC.
Both will report to vp of news Mike Goldrick. Glassman has been the assistant news director at the station since 2013. Llargues has worked at the Telemundo station for eight years.
“Daniela has lived and breathed Telemundo since her days with ZGS and has been with T44 since the start,” said Goldrick in an email obtained by TVSpy. “She will continue to focus the team on delivering the best Breaking News, Weather and community coverage for the DMV’s growing Spanish language news audience.”
