Sharrie Williams has been named co-anchor of the WPVI 4 and 10 p.m. newscasts.
“It’s a big day for me at 6abc,” Williams wrote on her Facebook page. “I promise to work hard everyday to do my part to ensure the newscasts are accurate, timely, fun, informative and meaningful to you and your family. I am beyond happy and thankful for this awesome opportunity. See you today starting at 4!”
Williams came to WPVI from KTVT in Dallas, Texas in March 2014.
