WPVI Keeps Social Lead in Philadelphia

There wasn’t much movement among the social media leaders in Philadelphia over the last 30 days, according to data from Share Rocket.

ABC-owned WPVI maintained its lead with a 47 share. Fox-owned WTXF was second with a 36. NBC-owned WCAU had an 8.5 and CBS-owned KYW was close behind with a 7.1.

While WPVI’s engagement was down slightly during the 30 days compared to 30 days prior, the station still saw 2,981,760 total engagement and led the market with 270.2 engagements per post. The WPVI total audience of 3.57 million is about 1.2 million larger than second-place WTXF (2.34 million).

On Twitter, KYW was the only station in the top four to increase its engagement compared to the prior 30 days. WPVI’s Adam Joseph and WCAU’s John Clark boosted their station’s shares by more than four points during the time period.

The top six individuals in Philadelphia claimed 1.00 of the market share or more. Five of the six had total social audiences of 90,000 followers or more. WPVI meteorologist Adam Joseph was the top-performing individual in the market with a 4.33 Share.
