WOFL EP Faces 150 Years for Child Porn Charges

By Kevin Eck

WOFL executive producer Joshua Vincent Langel was arrested Friday and charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography.

Orlando ABC affiliate WFTV reports Langel’s computer matched “a computer in Central Florida ‘advertising known or suspected files that depicted the sexual exploitation of children’ [a Florida Department of Law Enforcement] report said.”

“FOX 35 became aware of Joshua Langel’s arrest on Friday,” read a statement from the Orlando Fox-owned station where Langel works. “We are monitoring the situation as it progresses.”

Investigators say Langel’s computer had 10 videos allegedly portraying children engaged in sexual activity on it.
