Evy Ramos, an evening anchor at San Antonio NBC affiliate WOAI, shared her personal adoption story on yesterday’s episode of “San Antonio Living.”
Ramos revealed that she got pregnant during high school and gave her son up for adoption. She explained a bit more about her experience here:
November is National Adoption Month. I try my best to share my story about the beauty of adoption. Placing my child for adoption was the hardest thing I have ever done. But there is no doubt in my mind it was the best decision for him. He is being raised by two wonderful parents and has a great older brother. I hope anyone going through an unplanned pregnancy will consider adoption as an option.
