Ben Berkowitz has been named vp of Digital for WNBC.
Berkowitz comes to the New York NBC-owned station from CNBC where he was Deputy Managing Editor of News for CNBC Digital.
“Not only is Ben smart and savvy, but he is a strategic thinker who clearly understands the importance of our digital platforms,” said Eric Lerner, president and GM of WNBC. “He is one of the best in the business. We are excited that Ben is joining NBC 4 New York, and know he will take our team to the next level.”

Before working at CNBC, Berkowitz worked at Thomson Reuters, Fidelity Investments and the Associated Press.
