WNBC Adds Veteran Anchor to Weather Team

Dave Price is officially a member of the WNBC weather team.

Price has been freelancing at the NBC-owned New York station for the last several months. He joins Janice Huff, Chris Cimino, Raphael Miranda, Erica Grow and Steve Sosna.

“Dave Price has reported the New York metro weather story for more than 15 years. He knows our region like a local because he is one,” said Susan Sullivan, vp of news at WNBC. “Many of us at NBC 4 have known Dave for years and we couldn’t be more excited for him to permanently join our experienced weather team.”

Price last worked at New York’s WNYW, co-anchoring Good Day New York. It was his second time at the Fox-owned station. He worked there once before from 1999 until 2003. In between, he was the weather anchor for The Early Show on CBS and the morning weather anchor for CBS-owned station WCBS. He’s also worked at WTXF in in Philadelphia and WBBM in Chicago.
