Carter joins WLKY from KNDU-KNDO in Tri Cities, Wash., where she was an anchor and reporter for the weekday morning news. She replaces Lauren Adams who moves to evenings with Drew Gardner.

Lord has worked at WLKY since 2019 as a reporter and weekend anchor.

“Madeline and Shaquille are two energetic, positive individuals who really enjoy serving their community as local journalists,” said WLKY news director Andrea Stahlman. “I’m excited to have them join Susanne Horgan on the weekend morning newscasts. I’m also really looking forward to reaching a new audience in the 9am hour on Saturdays, just as we do Monday through Friday.”
