After a decade on the 6 p.m. newscast, WKBT anchor Lisa Klein will give up her spot on the anchor desk to focus on investigative reporting. Klein will continue as anchor of the 5 p.m. news at the LaCrosse CBS affiliate.
“Sitting next to my friend and co-anchor Mike Thompson for the past eight years has been an honor,” said Klein. “However, I am thrilled to be able to eat dinner with my family on a consecutive basis for the first time since my children were born, while maintaining a career in journalism with the news station I love.”
