Late last month, Providence, R.I. NBC affiliate WJAR reported former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez was facing charges of wanting to kill President Obama.
Nine minutes later anchor Frank Coletta had to apologize to viewers because the station got the wrong Hernandez. Alex Hernandez was the inmate accused of the threats, not Aaron.
