Bill Brown has added his name to the growing list of local TV retirees.

Brown has been the anchor of the Johnstown-Altoona, Pa. NBC affiliate morning show since it launched 29 years ago. He says he’s leaving the station at the end of the month.

“It has been my privilege to work with an incredible group of professionals here at WJAC and to have served the wonderful people in this region,” Brown said.

“We wish him the very, very best and thank him for his years of dedication and service to the region,” the station wrote on its facebook page.
