Al Carl has been named news director for Indianapolis, Ind. CW affiliate WISH.
“I have been fortunate in my broadcast career to work in great cities with wonderful people all over the country,” Carl wrote on Facebook. “I am excited to announce that I have yet another opportunity to work with a fantastic news team in an awesome city! It is my privilege to move within the Media General Company yet again and to take over as News Director at WISH-TV in Indianapolis.”
Carl comes to WISH from KSNT in Topeka, Kansas. He’s also worked at WTNH in New Haven-Hartford, Conn.
