Jadiann Thompson has been promoted to full-time anchor at WHDH in Boston.
Thompson joined WHDH in June 2015. She currently anchors at 4 and 5:30 p.m. and reports for the late newscasts.
“I’ve been asked to launch our new 6:30 and 9 o’clock evening news that will start weekdays on January 1st,” Thompson wrote on her Facebook page. “This is in addition to the 4-5 and 5:30-6 weekday news I already do. Now I’m a full time anchor at a station I love and in a city I adore!”

Before joining WHDH, she worked at KSHB in Kansas City.
