WHAM anchor Don Alhart has regained his spot in the Guinness World Records.

According to Guinness, Alhart once again has the longest career as a male TV news broadcaster, spanning more than 57 years.

He started at the Rochester, N.Y. ABC affiliate in 1966, when channel 13 was still WOKR.

“My favorite part is being able to put others on the news,” Alhart told the Guinness Book of World Records.

Alhart held the title in 2016 after working for Channel 13 for more than 50 years, but lost it to Jesús Héctor Benavides Fernández of Monterrey, Mexico, who had been a TV news broadcaster for more than 54 years.

“I am proud to say I hold a Guinness World Records title,” he said. “I never dreamed that would be possible, and to earn it doing something I love makes it very worthwhile.”
