Sinclair has promoted its general sales manager, Susan Walther, to the general manager position at WGME, the CBS affiliate in Portland, Ma.
He will also oversee WPFO, the Fox affiliate, under a joint sales agreement.
“Susan is no stranger to the Portland, Maine market. She has been with Sinclair in Portland for almost 20 years. Her long history in television sales and deep connection to the community make her a great leader for our stations,” said Steve Marks, EVP-COO of Sinclair.

Walther has been with the Sinclair Group for more than 19 years. She served as the station’s general sales manager for the past nine.
She holds a bachelor of arts in communications and business from the University of New Hampshire.
