WFTV Consumer Reporter Todd Ulrich Retires After 38 Years

By Kevin Eck

WFTV reporter Todd Ulrich has retired from the Orlando ABC affiliate after 38 years.

Ulrich was the station’s consumer investigations reporter. He started working at WFTV in 1984.

“Nearly four decades later it’s so incredibly hard to leave what has been a dream job— but it’s time,” Ulrich posted on Facebook. “Leading the Action 9 consumer unit has been a great privilege and a rewarding challenge. We’ve helped a few hundred consumers every month find their voice and attempted to resolve their issues from routine refunds and repairs to life changing challenges like saving their homes. By telling their stories and successes we helped so many other families avoid the same mistakes and scams.”
