WFTV anchor Greg Warmoth is coming back to the anchor desk on Monday after having cancer removed from his lip.
We reported in August that Warmoth had been off the air to have surgery to remove lip cancer. Now, he said he’s well enough to come back to the Orlando station. He also posted a picture of his newly reconstructed lip.
“We did some stretching exercises as the area that was repaired has started to contract, and it should be as good as new within the next three months,” said Warmoth. “There is still a sensation of a tingling in my lip similar to when you go to the dentist.”
In a social media post, he said he’ll “see ya Monday,” and added, “THANK YOU for the countless prayers and messages and I’m so happy that many of you were encouraged to have a check up.”
