WFSB Promotes Two Anchors to its Morning Newscasts

Caitlin Nuclo has been named weekday morning co-anchor for Hartford CBS affiliate WFSB.

Nuclo will join Nicole Nalepa, Caitlin Francis and meteorologist Scot Haney on weekday mornings from 4:30 to 7 a.m.

Nuclo has been with WFSB since 2017 as the weekend morning anchor. She was an intern at the station in 2007 while attending the University of Connecticut.

Alleah Red will take over for Nuclo as the weekend morning anchor. Red joined the station in September of 2023.

“This is part of WFSB’s continued commitment to local journalism. Both women are Connecticut natives and strong journalists,” said WFSB regional vice president and general manager Dana Neves. “We are excited to watch them grow in their new roles and report Connecticut’s news.”
