WFSB meteorologist Lorin Richardson has left the Hartford, Connecticut CBS affiliate after four years.

She announced the news on social media, saying that her time there “has come to an end.”

“I just really want to say I enjoyed my time there – in so many aspects – of course getting to do weather forecasting and reporting on some amazing stories,” she wrote on Facebook. “It’s been a profound chapter in my life. Meteorology has become such a passion for me and I have now been in the news industry total for almost 15 years. I also got to fill in on so many other wonderful roles – traffic, Great Day Connecticut and so much more.
