WFLD Adds 30 Minutes to Morning Show

By Kevin Eck

Viewers of Chicago Fox-owned station WFLD can wake up a half-hour earlier to catch up on the day’s news.

Starting Monday, April 10, Good Day Chicago will begin airing at 4 a.m. instead of 4:30.

“Our energetic team is ready to deliver up-to-the-minute news, traffic and weather reports that prepare early-rising commuters to take on the day,” said vp and news director Matt Piacente.

Kristin Nicole and Natalie Bomke will continue to anchor, along with meteorologist Mike Caplan, and traffic reporter Jenny Milkowski.
