WSAZ anchor Erica Bivens has addressed the bar fight involving her co-anchor Chelsea Ambriz on Twitter.

“Just wanted to update you all, I am at home recovering from a fractured skull and ruptured eardrum. I’m waiting on the doctors to clear me so I can get back to work. Thank you so much for the kind words and support,” she said on Aug. 31.

TVSpy told you about the incident that happened between the two news anchors near Huntington, W.Va., a week ago.

Bivens suffered a fractured skull and ruptured ear drum after being pushed to the ground by Ambriz, according to the police report.

The station has not yet made a statement about the incident. Ambriz is due in court later this month.
