KTLA entertainment reporter Sam Rubin is madder than a midwestern viewer having his “program” interrupted by a severe weather report. Why?
He says TBS and Funny or Die are stealing from the Los Angeles CW affiliate with its new show Funny or Die Presents America’s Next Weatherman.
“We did it twice!” yelled Rubin on set this morning. He then showed an audition tape from Jessica Holmes, who was discovered in 2005 while she was a contestant on KTLA’s show, which was called The Audition. Now she’s one of the station’s morning anchors.

“It’s nothing a little check made out to Sam Rubin wouldn’t solve,” said morning anchor Chris Burrous. Even though the anchors later remembered former morning ep Rich Goldner came up with the original idea.
