Holly Samuels, a morning anchor at Dayton NBC affiliate WDTN, will leave the station to join the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce as director of marketing and communications.
The Dayton Business Journal reports Samuels will use her married name, Holly Allen, when she starts October first:
“Holly’s extensive background in public relations, journalism and business outreach gives her a unique skill set that will be an asset to the members of the chamber,” said Phil Parker, president and CEO of the chamber. “Marketing and communications is an essential function of the chamber and I’m excited to have Holly overseeing these efforts.”
AdvertisementCurrently, Allen is co-anchor of 2 NEWS Today weekday mornings on WDTN/WBDT. Before joining the desk on 2 NEWS Today, she was a reporter and weekend anchor for the station.
