WDBJ GM Taking Job With New Station Owner

Jeff Marks, gm of Roanoke, Va. Schurz-owned CBS affiliate WDBJ, is taking a corporate job with Gray Television.

Marks has worked at WDBJ since July 2007. As part of his new job, he’ll develop a recruiting system for Gray and will consult with Gray’s stations.

He was the station’s spokesperson after the August murder of reporter Alison Parker and photographer Adam Ward.

Gray announced it was buying Schurz Communications in September.
