WCVB has named Stefan Hadl, director of engineering for the Boston ABC affiliate.
He replaces Dave Kaylor, who was promoted to Hearst’s new position as the station group’s director of veteran recruiting.
Hadl comes to WCVB from Hearst’s KCRA in Sacramento. Hadl first worked at KCRA in 1995 as a broadcast engineer before leaving for the station group’s WMUR in Manchester, N.H. He came back to KCRA in 2004 as director of engineering and operations.
