Boston CBS-owned station WBZ is hiring Brad Tatum from NBC affiliate WHDH to be its assistant news director.
WBZ promoted former assistant news director Johnny Green to news director in April after Gary LaPlante left the station in March.
According to his LinkedIn page, Tatum has been at WHDH since 2010. He worked at WSOC in Charlotte before that.

A WBZ spokesperson told TVSpy he starts Tuesday, July 5.
