WANE anchor Sara Schaefer said goodbye to viewers after two years as the station’s morning anchor and reporter.
“This is my last day so I want to thank you for waking up with me and spending time with me the past two years,” she said last week.
Schaefer joined the station in 2016. She started her career at the sister station, WTHI in Terre Haute.

She is a Fort Wayne native and plans to stay in the area.
