WABC investigative reporter Sarah Wallace is no longer with the New York ABC owned station.
WABC news director Camille Edwards wrote in an email obtained by TVSpy, “I wanted to let you know that Sarah Wallace is no longer with Eyewitness News. We want to thank Sarah for her many years of service and wish her the best.”
Wallace’s bio has been removed from the station website. Her company twitter and facebook pages have also been removed.
A fellow reporter replied to Edward’s email saying, in part, “We lost a giant when Sarah Wallace walked out the door today, a reporter for whom I have endless respect. Sarah did what we are supposed to do, what we don’t do enough. And she did it every day.”
Wallace started at WABC in 1984. She has also worked at KTTV in Los Angeles, KCRA in Sacramento and KCST in San Diego.
