Correction: In yesterday’s ShopTalk, we erroneously referred to the 1973 inauguration of Richard Nixon as the first presidential inauguration to be televised nationally. Nixon’s inauguration was not the first to be televised nationally, not by a long shot. According to the Smithsonian, the inauguration of Harry S. Truman in 1949 holds that distinction. We regret the error and apologize for any confusion.
