Tulsa Cox Stations Form Digital Sales Alliance, Name Manager

Cox Media Group’s Tulsa FOX affiliate KOKI and Cox Media’s Tulsa radio stations have teamed up to form a digital solutions alliance with Cox Media, Inc.’s sales division.  The properties plan to “offer advanced digital solutions to local advertisers under the brand Cox Local Solutions.”

The new group will be managed by Heather Boethin. She started at CMG in 2007 as a radio account executive and worked her way up to digital sales manager.

“This is a first,” said CMG Tulsa Radio vp and gm Dan Lawrie. “We are distinctively positioned to provide Tulsa businesses with a unique combination of digital assets and customized solutions to maximize their digital presence.”

“This unique collaboration will make it easier for our advertisers to buy local and national digital advertising with one point of contact,” said Greg Bilte, vp and gm of KOKI. “Advertisers will now have the convenience of one stop shopping with Cox Local Solutions staff giving them the knowledge of what’s trending now in digital advertising.”
