Tribune’s Sacramento station KTXL has launched the market’s first newsgathering drone.
The Fox affiliate’s Drone 40 took some shots of the flooding in the local area. The station says the drone is manned by two of its photographers, who underwent training to get licensed.
Its video ran in the 5 p.m. newscast and showed up on Facebook.
