Laila Muhammad has been named host of Tribune’s syndicated morning show Eye Opener.
Muhammad, who is expected to start in mid-March, comes from Tribune’s WTKR in Norfolk, Va.

She started her career as a PA at WFMY in Greensboro, N.C. She’s also worked at KVIA in El Paso, Texas, WTOP radio in Washington, D.C., and WNCT in Greenville, N.C.
Eye Opener is produced at KDAF in Dallas, Texas and airs in Philadelphia, Pa., Houston, Texas, Washington, D.C., Portland, Oregon and The Quad Cities.
