Leigh White has been promoted to vp and gm of KTXL from director of sales for the Tribune-owned Sacramento Fox affiliate.
“Leigh is the inspired leader that we had been seeking to fill this role, and we are fortunate the right person to manage the station was already at KTXL,” said Tribune COO Kathy Clements. “Leigh has proven her management skills and excels at strategic planning, making her a perfect fit to run FOX 40.”
Before working at KTXL, White was director of sales at WCNC in Charlotte, N.C. She’s also worked as gsm at WBIR in Knoxville, Tenn., WTVX-WTCN and at WWHB in West Palm Beach, Fla. She was vp and gm at WDBD-WUFX-WXMS in Jackson, Miss.
