Thomas Drayton Returns to WTXF

Thomas Drayton is the new morning co-anchor at Fox-owned Philadelphia station WTXF. He was an evening anchor at the station from 2008 until 2013.

Beginning Thursday, Oct. 27, Drayton will co-anchor alongside Karen Hepp on Good Day Philadelphia from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m.

Drayton takes the slot last occupied by Chris Murphy who recently moved to KSWB in San Diego.

“Thomas is proof you can go home again!” said vp and news director Jim Driscoll. “We are thrilled to welcome him back to the Fox 29 family. Thomas is a consummate newsman, and we look forward to him bringing his passion for storytelling to our morning newscasts.”

Drayton has also worked in New York, Denver, Sacramento, Anchorage and Colorado Springs.
