Telemundo Utah Promotes Pedro Andrade to News Director

Pedro Andrade has been promoted to news director for Telemundo Utah (KULX) the Telemundo-owned station that serves Spanish-speaking audiences throughout the state of Utah.

Andrade has been the station’s assistant news director since August 2022.

In this expanded role, he will continue to lead the station’s newsroom across multiple linear and digital platforms including on-air, online at TelemundoUtah.com, on ROKU and Fire TV, and via its Telemundo Utah app and social media channels. Andrade will continue to report to Tatiana Argüello, president and general manager of Telemundo Colorado and Telemundo Utah.

Andrade has held various newsroom positions with increasing responsibility throughout the years. He joined KULX from KSTS San Jose, California where he started as a news producer in 2015.

Andrade once worked for the General Office of Communication at the Housing Authority in Venezuela in various mass communication roles.
