The Telemundo Station Group has promoted three executives: Michael Chico has been named evp of Sales, Amanda Calpin has been named CFO and Osvaldo “Ozzie” Fernandez has been named svp of News, Digital and Standards.
“Mike, Amanda and Ozzie are vital members of the Telemundo Station Group and their exceptional contributions have helped our stations accomplish various history-making milestones in the past couple of years,” said Manuel Martinez, president of the Telemundo Station Group.
Chico first worked for NBCUniversal from 2002 to 2006. Before returning in 2014 as svp of Sales, he was the svp of National Sales for Clear Channel Outdoor. Calpin was named vp of Finance for Telemundo Station group in 2012. Before joining Telemundo in 2013, Martinez was the assistant news director at WNBC.
