Alberto Rullán will join Telemundo New York (WNJU) as a fill-in anchor and reporter.
The station said “Rullán will support all of Telemundo 47’s local newscasts, which air Monday to Friday at 5 a.m., 6 a.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. and on weekends at 5:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.”
“Rullán’s experience in reporting the latest breaking news and information to Spanish-speaking audiences will help us enhance our news coverage for the communities we serve,” said WNJU gm Cristina Schwarz. “We are thrilled that Rullán is joining our news team and welcome him to the New York tristate area.”
Rullán comes to WNJU from WAPA in Puerto Rico where he’s worked for the last 15 years. he starts July 27.
