Tegna is expanding the commerce franchise, DealBoss, across all stations’ digital and social platforms.
The segment, hosted by Matt Granite, will be available on-air in select markets. It currently airs in 15 markets and has been available to viewers since 2011.
“For years, we’ve provided researched recommendations through local Tegna stations’ trusted consumer reporting,” said Adam Ostrow, chief digital officer. “Now, we’re expanding our efforts to help our audiences save time and money through a new, cross-platform brand that will provide the best deals and recommendations 24×7.”
The segment currently airs in 15 markets and has been available to viewers since 2011.
DealBoss is also the only place where consumers can find early Amazon Prime prices. It now features exclusive, daily Amazon Prime Day deals through July 27.
