Still Angry, NY Toyota Dealers Cut Ads on ABC Stations

Frustrated with the way ABC News has covered Toyota’s recall problems, the manufacturer’s dealers throughout the region are cutting back advertising spending on ABC stations.

Dennis Lauzon, head of the Greater New York Toyota Dealer Association, told the Daily News that the dealers had been advertising on local newscasts and were tired of their products being bashed.


“They’re bashing our product during the news, it made no sense to advertise,” Lauzon said. More…
