St. Louis Anchor Signs Off After 17 Years On Air

KTVI anchor-reporter Melanie Moon is leaving after 17 years on-air in St. Louis.

She’s moving to Kuwait to join her fiance who works for Boeing, according to the station’s website.

In a goodbye story, the station thanked the Moon for her time at FOX2.

Since early 2000, Melanie has devoted countless hours to area non-profits such as Variety, the Children’s Charity of St. Louis, Bark in the Park, The Mayor’s Ball, Salvation Army, St. Louis Fashion Week, Celebrate Fitness, and Making Strides for Breast Cancer, just to name a few.

Moon’s last day on the air will be May 12.

She has been silent on social media about her departure.
