WWLP in Chicopee, Mass. says a squirrel is to blame for a power outage that has taken the Springfield market’s NBC affiliate off the air.

“We are working to correct the problem and will bring you the latest information as it becomes available,” the station says on its Facebook page.

A quick check of TVEyes shows the station went off air a little before 8:30 a.m. ET.

A WWLP Spokesperson told TVSpy the station is back on the air.
