Albany, N.Y. sports anchor Michael Barth is leaving ABC and Fox affiliate WTEN-WXXA.
Barth has worked at the station since 2017.
“Time for some personal news, This Sunday will mark my last day at News10 ABC along with my last in the broadcasting world. I’m ‘getting out’ as we say to pursue opportunities outside of the industry,” he wrote on Facebook. “I will always be grateful for the experiences that I’ve had during this journey. Those highlights include driving out to Nacogdoches as an intern in Houston, to doing live shots from the floor of MSG, and tripping over my feet in the Giants locker room causing my microphone to hit Eli Apple in the face.”

His last day was Sunday. Barth says he’s deleting his Facebook page today.
