Sinclair Names Amy Calvert to Lead Stations in Oklahoma

Amy Calvert has been named vice president and general manager of Fox affiliate KOKH and KOCB in Oklahoma City.

Calvert comes from KJRH, the Scripps Media television station in Tulsa, where she most recently served as vp and gm.

“Amy is a seasoned executive with deep roots in Oklahoma,” said Rob Weisbord, Sinclair’s chief operating officer and president of Local Media. “We are excited she has joined Sinclair to lead our stations in Oklahoma City and we look forward to strengthening our bonds in the community as we continue to grow the stations.”

Calvert has held several leadership positions across the broadcast industry, including GM at GEB America and Director of Creative Services at TV Guide Networks.

“As a lifelong Oklahoman, I’m honored to join the amazing teams at KOKH, KOCB and the Sinclair team. My deep love for this state and my passion for local media make me incredibly excited to serve our viewers and community leaders in Oklahoma City and the surrounding communities,” said Calvert.

Sinclair also named Jennifer Hansen GM of its stations in Birmingham, Alabama this week.
